Here are some of the books we have restored for customers in the past. If you have a favourite book or family heirloom in need of restoration, please get in touch or visit the shop.

Recently at Castle Book Bindery, we were brought Charles Dickens’ Pickwick Papers. We made a bespoke case binding for this first edition of the novel.

Take a look at this beautiful Family Bible restored at the Castle Book Bindery. When brought to us, the covers were detached, the leather was faded and worn, and the brass clasps broken. We were able to put in a new leather spine to secure the covers, fix the clasps and bring the leather back to life to show off the original gold gilt work.
